Things to See and Do
From the clifftops you can see the famous Cromer Pier with its lifeboat shed and theatre.
Out to sea you’ll be able to make out the Cromer Shoals Chalk Bed. At 20 miles in length it’s the longest in the world, and dates back to the Mesozoic era. A quick snorkel will enable you to reach it and see it close up!
In town you’ll find plenty of local craft shops and great places to eat, all with the unique ‘olde worlde’ charm you only seem to find in North Norfolk.
In early August it’s the Cromer Carnival, where the whole town comes alive with events, competitions, and displays from The Red Arrows among others.
